Esattamente quello di cui avevo bisogno, attenuare il mio ampli Mezzabarba 50w per un uso casalingo mantenendo lo stesso identico suono. Ottima qualità costruttiva ed estetica, che fa sempre piacere, aggiunta ad una assoluta facilità d'uso.

Best attenuator

I got a tube amp doctor for use with a Marshall JCM 800 2203X and burnt out 2 units within months.
The rockcrusher was recommended to me by many Marshall owners and it is perfect.
Lowering volume the amps tone don't change.

Rivera RockCrusher Gold – Macht was er soll

Ich habe den Rivera RockCrusher in Gold gekauft, weil er farblich besser zu meinen Marshall Topteilen passt als das Lila des Standardmodels.
Der Rivera ist ein guter Attenuator. Er kann wahlweise mit 8 oder 16 Ohm betrieben werden. Bei anderen Herstellern müssen oft zwei separate Geräte gekauft werden. Deshalb ist auch der etwas hohe Preis noch in Ordnung.
Ich habe einen JVM 410H mit 100 Watt bis auf null runtergeregelt. Das ist schon heftig, was das Teil an Leistung wegstecken kann.
Wenn ein Attenuator verwendet wird, ist immer ein wenig Verlust am Klang einzukalkulieren. Das ist normal und sollte immer im Hinterkopf behalten werden. Aber das Signal bleibt beim RockCrusher als Originalsignal erkennbar. Wie gesagt, mit kleinen Abstrichen.
Die Bedienung ist einfach und die Buchsen sind gut gekennzeichnet. Fehlbedienung ist somit kein Thema.
Bei Bedarf können über zwei Kippschalter Höhen und Bässe hinzugefügt werden.
Er benötigt keine eigene Stromversorgung und hat keinen Lüfter, weshalb er ohne Störgeräusche betrieben werden kann.
Fazit:
Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem RockCrusher.
Wenn also ein Attenuator benötigt wird, ist der Rivera RockCrusher eine gute Wahl.

Rivera RockCrusher Attenuator

It does extremely well what is designing for. No differences between my Aracom and this new boy during the AB test. Edge switch is very efficient to maintain dynamic response. I'm not going beyond 20dB attenuation since my amp has a PPIMV (1987 + 1960).

Having a stereo rig set up it was an evidence to get one attenuator per amp. So now I'm fully satisfied.
